Without a doubt, Redfall was one of the biggest disappointments of the first half of 2023. Despite the fact that its developer studio is highly regarded, the end result left much to be desired. Therefore, it is not surprising that, in less than a month, it lost a large percentage of its audience.
The Arkane Studios title debuted at the beginning of May full of negative ratings from critics and fans. However, despite a very poor initial performance on Steam, it still managed to climb onto the list of most played titles on Xbox upon launch.
Redfall became one of the titles for Xbox ecosystems with the best debut so far in 2023, this according to data from the True Achievements portal. However, now it seems that players have lost interest in the title and have stopped playing the game. This is worrying if we consider that the premiere took place less than a month ago.

In less than a month, Redfall collapses and loses its community
As the GameRant medium discovered, the latest video game from Arkane Studios and Bethesda left the top 50 most played video games on Xbox, according to information provided by Microsoft itself on its website. This seems to be the case in at least the United States and Mexico. It may still be on the list of most popular titles in other markets.
Even so, it is striking that Redfall has already lost a large sector of its community a few weeks after its official launch, since we must also remember that it is available through the Xbox Game Pass service. Something similar was seen on Steam, where it registered less than 200 players a couple of days ago. It will be interesting to see if future updates manage to recapture fan interest, although the outlook is looking bleak.
But tell us, do you still play this title? Do you think he deserves a second chance? Let us read you in the comments.
