With a message on Instagram, Mauro Icardi wanted to wish Inter a happy birthday in view of the final in Istanbul

Five years after that May 2018, Simone Inzaghi led Inter to the Champions League final. A path of continuous growth that also bears the signature of Mauro Icardi, decisive with a brace in that match against Lazio. And the former Nerazzurri striker wanted to write a message on Instagram to the Nerazzurri ahead of Istanbul:
“5 years ago we could say that we have reached the top of Europe again, returning after so many difficult years to play in the Champions League. Today, 5 years later, Inter are in the FINAL. Good luck, I always wish you the best with all my heart”.
