Following a series of rumors that the sequel to Hot Wheels Unleashed, an arcade racing title based on the famous miniature cars, will have a sequel. Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is a reality and will be released on October 19 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged will start with more than 130 vehicles with new types like Hot Wheels Monster Trucks, motorcycles and ATVs added. There is also a new system for each vehicle category, upgradable with a skill tree. Other additions include five new locations, such as a miniature golf course in a Wild West town or the backyard of a suburban home.
More importantly, different types of terrain will affect handling more significantly, so adjust accordingly. New moves like Lateral Dash and Single/Double Jump are also available to bypass barriers or find shortcuts. Also waiting for you is the return of the Track Editor, an improved livery editor and a new campaign mode.
