New week of sales of games in physical format from UK for PS4, PS5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch; excluding PC and Steam Deck. After the previous one, we see that Hogwarts Legacy leads and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is 2nd.
This is because the Avalanche Software game It has been released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and all that remains is to see it on the Nintendo hybrid console after its well-known delay to the summer of 2023.
Even so, this launch in the last generation has triggered the Harry Potter spin-off salesas we read in GamesIndustry.biz when echoing physical sales from the United Kingdom.

Hogwarts Legacy, this is how it moves on PS4
The game had infarct numbers in its sales when it reached PlayStation 5 y Xbox Series X|S, something that on PS4 and Xbox One has not been similar. Of course, these versions have been the 4th biggest premiere of the year.
The aforementioned website mentions that its launch has been behind Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Resident Evil 4 Remake, but ahead of Dead Island 2.
That means the lead of the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is over and it has only lasted a week in being 1st, the game is 2nd this week after a 68% drop in sales.
The physical sales seen 7 days ago represented a decrease of one third compared to the launch of its predecessor, back in 2019.
But if we take a look at its digital sales (which didn’t arrive until the end of last week) they improved and were 30% higher than Fallen Order’s.
This is so because digital represented practically two-thirds of Jedi: Survivor saleswhile it only accounted for just over a third of Fallen Order’s release figures (digital data by GSD).
While some shine, others fall a little more
To complete the rest of the top 5 we see other old and recent releases, such as Dead Island 2 falling two places and being 3rd after a drop in sales of 51%.
But also Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, which maintains its fourth place, and FIFA 23, which remains 5th due to a 4% drop in sales from one week to the next.
We leave you with the complete graph in a somewhat tragic week for some, successful for others and pessimistic for those who remain.

As for other recent releases, we see the case of Minecraft Legends (launched 3 weeks ago) which remains in the top 10, being the bottom of it and after a 2% drop in sales from one week to the next.
Other games like Super Mario Odyssey, WWE 2K23 or GTA V dance among the rest as they move up and down the table.
It is clear that Hogwarts Legacy once again leads physical sales from the UK after its release on PS4 and Xbox One, but the rest of the titles are still very pending; even more so now that Tears of the Kingdom arrives.
