The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 movie has a brutal opening scene which can be seen below.
Fans of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 are in luck, as a trailer for the first four minutes of the new Marvel movie has officially been released. In this preview, we can enjoy an incredible opening sequence that shows us how the protagonists begin this story.
Sarofsky, a production company specializing in the production of excellent long forms and visual effects, was commissioned to launch this exciting scene. According to them, for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, they wanted to achieve a different feel compared to the previous films. The main title sequence needed to have a softer, more introspective tone, and to achieve that they developed a solution that suited it perfectly. As we can check with this link.
Rocket
The movie begins with Rocket’s past.
They have not shown the initial moments where we see how a baby raccoon is hit by The High Evolutionary and from that moment we go to an adult Rocket, who is in the Sapiential space station and is part of a team of heroes. The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 sequence culminates in an unexpected surprise, as Peter Quill, played by Chris Pratt, shows up drunk, as he covers up Gamora’s lack, with alcohol.
Curiously enough, when Nebula transports Star Lord, it’s not actually Chris Pratt, as director James Gunn has revealed interesting details about the making of this sequence. It turns out that he is a realistic doll created by Legacy Effects and they also tried to imitate the way the actor himself sleeps.
Marvel Studios
In case anyone is wondering, the song playing in the background is “Creep” by Radiohead. And as usual in this saga, it is very well implemented.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 is still in theaters, where it has already grossed more than $664 million. While the other two installments can be enjoyed on the Disney Plus streaming platform with this link.
