Through a publication on social networks, Bandai Namco announced that both the Dimps title and the Arc System Works title have already exceeded the barrier of 10 million units sold worldwide. These figures include sales in physical and digital format on all platforms.
In November 2021, Bandai Namco reported that these Toei Animation anime-based projects had so far sold 8 million copies worldwide. Thus, they managed to dispatch approximately 2 million units in the last year and a half.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 debuted in October 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, while a port for Nintendo Switch arrived in September 2017. Dragon Ball FighterZ hit stores in January 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, while the version for Nintendo’s hybrid console debuted in September of that year. Arc System Works is currently working on native versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, which will incorporate the long-awaited rollback netcode.
