Gladiator 2 has broken the Internet with its latest announcement. The upcoming Ridley Scott-directed gladiator sequel is set to feature The Mandalorian and The Last of Us star Pedro Pascal. This will be the new role played by one of the most beloved, prominent and visible actors of the modern era.
Deadline has reported that the star is in final negotiations to appear in Gladiator 2. A film that will once again be directed by Ridley Scott himself. Pedro Pascal thus joins a luxury cast. A few days ago we learned that Connie Nielsen and Joseph Quinn, an actor known for his role in Stranger Things, had also joined the production of the sequel. In short, we are in front of an amazing cast and a huge director. Therefore, the ‘hype’ is in the clouds.

Gladiator 2 will once again be directed by Ridley Scott from a script written by David Scarpa. The sequel will take place years after the events of the first film.. Paul Mescal will play Lucius, Lucilla’s adult son, played by Connie Nielsen in the first film. He will also feature Barry Keoghan (The Batman) and Oscar winner Denzel Washington. What a luxurious cast!
Gladiator 2 will be produced by Michael Pruss, president of Scott & Scott Free, and Douglas Wick and Lucy Fisher of Red Wagon Entertainment. Universal Pictures also has the right to be associated with the project once packaged, as it co-produced the original along with DreamWorks.. Other returning team members from the original film include costume designer Janty Yates and production designer Arthur Max. The excitement is high!
