The spectacular Foundation series based on Isaac Asimov’s novels shows the trailer for the second season.
Apple TV + has just presented the trailer for the second season of Foundation, the epic science fiction story taken from the novels of Isaac Asimov. They have also revealed that the release date will be July 14, 2023.
Season 2 will pick up more than a century after the end of the first, with increased tension across the galaxy. As the Cleons fall apart, a vengeful queen plans to destroy the Empire from within. Hari, Gaal and Salvor discover a colony of mentalics with psionic abilities that threaten to alter psychohistory itself.
Additionally, the Foundation has entered its religious phase, promulgating the Church of Seldon throughout the Outer Reach and inciting the Second Crisis: war with the Empire.
Jared Harris and Lee Pace will reprise their respective roles, along with their co-stars Laura Birn, Cassian Bilton and Terrence Mann. The cast also includes Isabella Laughland (Brother Constant), Kulvinder Ghir (Poly Verisof), Ella-Rae Smith (Queen Sareth of Cloud Dominion), Holt McCallany (Warden Jaegger Fount), Rachel House (Tellem Bond), Nimrat Kaur (Yanna Seldon), Ben Daniels (Bel Riose) and Dimitri Leonidas (Hober Mallow).

As the story progresses, the Foundation faces many challenges, from political conflicts to alien invasions. However, using psychohistory, the Foundation is able to overcome these challenges and maintain its vision of a bright future for humanity.
