Optimus Prime, one of the most iconic Transformers characters, would be coming to Fortnite in the next season! A recent leak revealed that the leader of the Autobots will be joining the popular battle royale game. While not much is known about his role in the game, an image has been leaked showing Optimus running through the jungle.
The well-known Fortnite leaker, HYPEX, reported that the character of Optimus Prime will be joining the game very soon and his release is rumored to be on Friday, June 9, 2023, right when the current season ends. According to HYPEX, season 3 would be set in a tropical environment and will feature the collaboration of Transformers, which means that Optimus Prime would be one of the characters available in the battle pass.

Although there is no official date yet for the release of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3, if Epic follows their usual cycle, it will likely launch in early June 2023.
