VOICE OF SEMARANG – In order to develop MSME culinary, Sriboga Flour Mill and Diponegoro University Vocational School collaborated to hold the 2023 Semarang Food Festival with the theme: “Entrepreneurship & Edufest” on 26-28 May 2023.
The Dean of the Undip Vocational School, Budiono said, as many as 50 MSMEs were presented at this event and it was hoped that they could inspire students to become entrepreneurs.
According to him, as many as 9-10 percent of Undip vocational school graduates are capable of entrepreneurship, so it is hoped that there will be more entrepreneurs in Indonesia.
“This exhibition is a series of interactive activities which include a Food Bazaar, Baking demo, as well as a Talkshow, Ingredients Expo which are held at the same time as one with the target of 3,000 visitors,” said Budiono, Friday (26/5/2023)

“This event, said Budiono, is an interactive event between small and medium businesses, large industry, cooking equipment, ingredients, banks, various Indonesian or contemporary flour-based culinary delights and an exhibition of work by students of Undip Vocational School Study Programs.”
Meanwhile, the Commercial General Manager of PT Sriboga Flour Mill, Rike Sundari welcomed the idea of the Diponegoro University Vocational School, to develop fostered SMEs, create MSME product innovations.
“For visitors, this also inspires business potential that can be explored from innovations in food and culinary products for UMKM based on wheat flour,” he said
So far Sriboga has had more than 3,082 assisted MSMEs throughout Central Java, and it is targeted to continue to increase by 50 MSMEs every month.
“The character of MSMEs in Central Java has a very strong emotional bond, so it’s not only a companion in terms of products and transactions, but also from an emotional bonding point of view,” said Rike

Semarang Food Festival activities not only eat various culinary offerings, and eat wheat flour based, visitors can take part in various activities such as baking shows, entrepreneurship talk shows, kids baking experiences.
The guest stars presented included Chef Deddy Rustandi, Chef Putri Uti Masterchef Season 8, as well as Diah Didi F&B reviewer and many other inspiring guest stars.
“At the peak of the event, Sriboga will celebrate its 25th anniversary while simultaneously launching a new innovative product with the Golden Bear brand,” said Rike.
At the Semarang Food Festival, visitors enter for free to get the excitement of entrepreneurship education, enjoy a variety of culinary and food, as well as baking experiences.
