This summer we will have good doses of terror on the big screen. In addition to having the end of the Insidious saga, we will also have The Nun 2, the sequel to the successful spin-off of the Warren File saga.

What will the movie The Nun 2 be about?
The first installment of The Nun sees Sister Irene and Father Burke investigating the death of a nun at the Santa Cartha Monastery in Romania. As your investigation deepens, sister Irene confronts the demon, but she escaped by possessing the unsuspecting delivery man Maurice aka Frenchie.
It was precisely his exorcism that was shown in the video at Ed and Lorraine Warren’s seminars twenty years later in the saga Warren expedientwhere Lorraine also had horrible visions of Ed’s death.
For its part, what is known about the plot of The Nun 2 is that it will take place four years after the events of the previous installment, but at the moment it is unknown what part of Maurice’s story will be shown in this chapter and in what ways the demon Valak will terrify us on this occasion.

This time under the direction of Michael Chaves (The Warren Files: Compelled by the Demon), the horror film will once again have Taissa Farmiga (The Golden Age, 50 States of Fright, American Horror Story) and Bonnie Aarons (I Live Alone, Adi Shankar’s Gods and Secrets, Camp Pleasant Lake) in the roles of Sister Irene and Valak respectively.
