The French portal Dealabs (which always hits the nail on the head with free PS Plus games) leaks the existence of two official Starfield accessories, which will soon arrive on Xbox.
We’re all looking forward to what’s to come on Xbox. After a watered-down year of 2022, and a disappointing first half of 2023, Microsoft and Bethesda save the final fireworks for the final stretch of the year…which could be historic for Xbox Series X|S.
And not only because of the launch of Forza Motorsport, or the possible surprises of Hellblade II, Avowed or Fable, but because of the arrival of Starfield. Bethesda’s space RPG arrives on September 6 to the shops.
Also to Xbox Game Pass, of course. Starfield is the great Xbox exclusive that we have been waiting for years, and soon (June 11) we will know more, in the Xbox Games Showcase.
A launch as important as this will come with a brutal marketing campaign, as well as new official accessories for Xbox Series X|S. We’ve already seen it with titles like God of War Ragnarok on PlayStation, and Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on Nintendo Switch.
The lack of official confirmation, it is known that Microsoft prepares two official accessories based on Starfieldwhich, in principle, will be presented at the Xbox Games Showcase in June.
Xbox controller and Starfield ”stellar” headset
The first indication dates back to a few weeks ago. On the Imgur portal, four images taken from a Chinese website were leaked, showing two official Starfield accessories.
Microsoft and Bethesda did not comment on the matter, but, by all accounts, it was seen that both were official Xbox products. Now, the Dealabs portal (which filters the PS Plus monthly games) has revealed more details about it.
We are talking about an Xbox controller based on Starfield, and also an official headset (according to information from K. Asante, on XboxEra), which will be presented at the event on June 11.
Both products are known by the code names of ”Ogden” (the controller) and ”Orren” (the headphones)which were also revealed by the insider billbill-kun a Twitter.
First of all, the official Ogden controller is white, accompanied by black details, which reveal its inspiration in Starfield. The back is red, with the messages ”Property of Constellation” and ”For All, into the Starfield”.
There are no images of the headphones, but, apparently, they will match the Xbox controller that we have described. Dealabs confirms that both products will reach both the United States and Europe.
These are the prices listed by Dealabs:
Starfield limited edition Xbox wireless controller: 74.99 euros / 79.99 dollars. Xbox Wireless Headsets: Starfield Limited Edition: 124.99 euros / 124.99 dollars.
It is unknown when they will be available. Logic tells us that they could arrive on September 6, coinciding with the launch of Starfield (or maybe a few weeks before). However, Dealabs says that they could launch on the same day as their presentation, June 11.
Starfield promises to be one of the most exciting games of the final stretch of 2023. It will be available from September 6 on Xbox Series X | S, Windows, Steam and Xbox Game Pass, with countless planets to visit, tons of missions, factions , improved combat system, and much more.
