The publisher and developer GIANTS Software shared the first details on the activities planned for this year’s community event, the FarmCon 23, anticipating new content for Farming Simulator games, while announcing the first appointments of the weekend agenda. FarmCon 23 will take place in the days July 1 and 2 at the DEUTZ-FAHR Arena a Lauingen, Germany. Tickets are available.
PRESENTATIONS TO SHOWCASE THE NEW EXPANSION, MAPS AND MUCH MORE
While farming enthusiasts and content creators look forward to celebrating Farming Simulator and the community spirit behind the popular series, GIANTS Software prepares for a series of informational panels. The focus will be on Farming Simulator 22 as well as the upcoming new mobile game, Farming Simulator 23. Presentations will begin at 10am:
· 15 Years of Farming Simulator: A retrospective by GIANTS Software CEO Christian Ammann and CTO Stefan Geiger.
· New Expansion: Preview for the upcoming Farming Simulator 22 expansion by Gameplay Producer & Lead Gameplay Programmer Manuel Leithner.
· New Map: Preview with a first look at the future map for Farming Simulator 22 by Senior 3D Artist Maximilian Frömter.
Publishing News: GIANTS Software Recent and Upcoming Projects Roundup, Presented by Boris Stefan, Head of Publishing.
· Production Pipeline: From pre-production to delivery of the finished product – processes explained by Publishing Coordinator Kenneth Burgess.
· Modding with Blender: Detailed information about modding with Blender, explained by Gameplay Programmer & Lead Integrator Stefan Maurus.
ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
GIANTS Software and DEUTZ-FAHR are planning fun-filled days, and not only on stage: game stations will be set up where you can try out the latest Farming Simulator 22 content and where the new Farming Simulator 23 mobile game will also be shown The Farming Simulator League (FSL) returns for Season 5. In order to participate in this esports tournament, teams must register in advance at fsl.giants-software.com.
The virtual Hay Bale Stacking Challenge will take place as usual and the winners will be awarded on stage – the prizes are offered by DEUTZ-FAHR. The German manufacturer of the world-famous machinery organizes a real simulation: guided by DEUTZ-FAHR staff, participants will be able to use real machinery to stack hay bales and drive a tractor on a separate test track. A 45-minute tour of the factory and a huge tractor exhibition will offer visitors the opportunity to get to know DEUTZ-FAHR better.
STANDARD & GOLD TICKETS AVAILABLE
After the fans have lingered on the official merchandise in the dedicated shop and still feel like having fun, it will be time for the “FAHR EVER DEUTZ Party”, organized by DEUTZ-FAHR, to be held nearby – access to the event requires the purchase of a dedicated ticket. To attend FarmCon 23, tickets must be purchased via Eventbrite.
Standard and gold tickets are available. Each ticket for FarmCon 23 includes a gift bag containing a selection of merchandise items. Like the tickets, available in limited quantities, the upgrade to ticket gold is also applicable to a small amount of tickets. Anyone quick enough to secure a gold entry will enjoy an exclusive evening with the GIANTS Software developers, including a delicious dinner.
Farming Simulator 22 is available for PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One. Farming Simulator 23, a new mobile version, will be released on May 23, 2023. Pre-orders for Farming Simulator 23: Nintendo Switch Edition available in select stores and on Nintendo eShop. The mobile versions for iPhone, iPad and Android devices will be available in the App Store and Google Play, respectively.
