Ferdy Sambo was sentenced to death by the judge in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier J. He was sentenced with his wife, Putri Candrawathi, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
However, it was stated that Ferdy Sambo had a second wife who tried to help him get away from the death penalty. According to information, Ferdy Sambo’s second wife has also been arrested.
The news was shared by the YouTube channel Lintas Informasi, which uploaded a video entitled “THIS MORNING SAMBO’S SECOND WIFE WAS ARRESTED BECAUSE HE HAS HELPED SAMBO FREE FROM THE DEATH PENALTY”.
In the thumbnail of the video there is a caption with the narration that reads, “Ferdy Sambo’s Second Wife Arrested, Bharada E Unmasks Second Wife”.

You can see a portrait of Ferdy Sambo wearing an orange vest and next to him stands a woman wearing a hijab circled in red.
The video has so far been watched by more than 8,200 views. However, is it true that Ferdy Sambo’s second wife has been arrested?
FACT CHECK:
After watching the 3 minute 31 second video, there is no valid evidence or official statement stating that Ferdy Sambo has a second wife.
A woman named Syarifah went viral at the start of the case and was willing to be Ferdy Sambo’s second wife because she supported Putri Candrawathi’s husband.

However, Syarifah is not Ferdy Sambo’s second wife. The narrator in the video does not provide a credible explanation regarding the claim that Ferdy Sambo’s wife was arrested, as stated in the video title.
In addition, the photos used are engineered. The female figure in the thumbnail has nothing to do with the Ferdy Sambo case.
Conclusion:
Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that the news that Ferdy Sambo’s second wife was arrested after helping her husband get off the death penalty is fake news or hoax.
