59% of those surveyed stated that they have considered emigrating to another country to improve their working conditions. That is to say, receive a better salary, access to better positions and have labor flexibility.
30% of the participants in the survey would like to go to work abroad to live the experience of being in another country where customs and lifestyle are completely different.
By contrast, 8% of workers are sure that leaving the country is not an option for themsince their employment situation in Mexico is good and they consider that moving would imply risking losing what they have already achieved here.

Main challenges for workers to work in another country
Although the majority of workers have stated that at some point they have sought or found a job opportunity that is not in Mexicothere are various factors that prevent them from carrying out this personal plan.
40% of those surveyed stated that their family situation does not allow them to leave the countrysince they have children at an age that makes it difficult to move, they are afraid of affecting their relationships or they are even responsible for taking care of some relatives.

and although 21% of the participants in the survey have what it takes to work in another country, they do not have access to information about job vacancies who are abroad.
Finally, 7% consider the low command of another language, the lack of professional preparation, their economy and even the fear of a change of this magnitudeas well as other challenges that make it difficult for them to establish a plan to work abroad.
