Ducati takes the field to support the citizens of its Region, as well as its employees

Ducati, born and raised in the neighborhood of Borgo Panigale in Bologna and strongly rooted in the entire regional territory, the famous Emilia-Romagna Motor Valley, has decided to take action for its own Region. The company has joined the campaign “Aid for Emilia-Romagna” by arranging a donation of 200,000 euros to the Civil Protection of the Region, which will use the funds received to support the people and communities affected by the flood.
Ducati supports all its employees who, having suffered damage or inconvenience, need time to resolve the emergency, recognizing the hours of absence as working hours in all respects, and therefore paid.
The trade union representatives and employees have also taken action to donate an hour of your salary: the proceeds will be doubled by the Company, again to support the people and communities affected in the Region.
Claudio Domenicali, Ducati CEO: “Witnessing what has happened in our Region in the last week has been a heavy blow to the heart for all of us. Ducati is strongly rooted in the Emilia-Romagna region, starting from the city of Bologna where we were born and where we operate, up to the entire Motor Valley and the Riders Land of Romagna. For us this is home and we felt the need to find a way to help, by supporting the regional Civil Protection with a donation of 200,000 euros which is currently coordinating, together with the competent authorities, operations in the numerous cities affected. Even the trade union representatives together with the employees are organizing themselves to donate an hour’s salary in solidarity. A gesture that says so much about that spirit of humanity and collaboration that identifies the inhabitants of this extraordinary territory that is Emilia-Romagna.”
Ducati – together with its official riders – invites its international community of Ducatisti, DOCs and dealers to join the cause by helping to support the Civil Protection of Emilia-Romagna.
