Despite the fact that Dwayne Johnson assured that he would never return to the main Fast and Furious saga… He’s back in a big way!

But also, it has been leaked that this story has a final surprise, since there is a post-credits scene where Dwayne Johnson returns as Hobbs.
It must be remembered that during the filming of Fast & Furious 8 (2017) there were many frictions between Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel. For this reason, the former WWE wrestler left the main saga, but had his spin-off movie titled Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw (2019) and did not participate in F9 (2021). Now, it seems that he has thought better of it and returns, despite the fact that he publicly said: “I told Vin Diesel directly that he would not return to the franchise. There is no chance of him coming back.” The failure of Black Adam (2022) may have caused things to be thought better and they do not want to lose another such successful franchise.

Fast X is a continuation of Fast & Furious 5 (2011), since the main villain named Dante, played by Jason Momoa, is the son of the rival of the protagonists of the fifth installment. That movie was Dwayne Johnson’s debut in the franchise, so it couldn’t be missing this time. Although, in this case it is simply a cameo at the end of the credits.
In addition, this may also mean confirmation that they will make Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw 2 and may even mix the stories in a final film in the saga, in the style of Avengers: Endgame by Marvel Studios.
What is Fast X about?
Dominic Toretto and his ‘family’ will have to face a great villain from the past who intends to torment them. In addition, not only does he threaten the safety of citizens, but he has turned it into something personal and intends to capture Dom’s son. Therefore, the protagonists must face him to prevent his plans. The movie will have a lot of action, excitement, crazy scenes and lots of explosions.
