In addition to the great emotion for the return to the track, there are hopes of doing well.
Danilo Petrucci will be back on the factory Ducati at Le Mans, where he will race in the French Grand Prix in place of the injured Enea Bastianini. The rider from Terni then decided to tell his feelings about him, but also the high expectations for a race where he did very well in the past.
“Going back to racing for Ducati in MotoGP represents a truly indescribable emotion for me – confessed Petrucci upon arrival at Le Mans -. I’m delighted, because I will have the honor of testing the world champion bike and I will be able to do it on the same track in which I collected my last MotoGP victory in 2020”.
Moreover, the same bad weather that characterized his last victory is expected at Le Mans, and Petrucci is well aware of it. “It will certainly not be an easy weekend, also considering the weather forecast. In the past, however, I’ve always been competitive in the wet. The first goal, however, is to do well together with the team, as well as having fun on the track.”
