After the increase in the cost per liter of petrol and diesel, which occurred precisely on New Year’s Eve during the celebrations for the arrival of the new year, fuel prices saw a slight drop around mid-March, to then stabilize. The last elaboration of the Energy newspaper based on the data communicated by the managers to Mimit’s Observatory prices, updated in recent days, decreed a slight increase in diesel in favor of a decrease, albeit centesimal, of green. Getting to the heart of the numbers, the average price charged at the pump in self-service mode it is 1.814 euros per liter for petrol (previously it was 1.816) and 1.668 euro/litre for diesel, against the previous 1.660.
As for the mode served on the other hand, for petrol the average price charged is 1.956 euros/litre and remains unchanged with respect at the last detection. The average diesel served was also stable: 1.804 euros/litre (1.805 in the previous analysis).
However, the arrival of summer, like every year, could lead to further price increases. Is it the right time for the Government to take matters into their own hands by deciding to lower prices?
