Days Gone it was quite successful when it came out on PS4, but Sony Interactive Entertainment ha stopped the sequel project due to low sales achieved. However, it seems that something is boiling, at least according to a rumor the sequel to Days Gone is in development.
Through Reddit it became known that the note leaker Lizwhich mainly deals with Destiny, stated that Days Gon 2 is in development. Obviously take these words with a grain of salt, as she was the same person who said that Sony stesse acqistando CD Projekt Red, news that appears to have been denied. In any case, we know that Bend Studio has something in store to show big stating that:
“We can’t wait to show you what’s next!”
Reports have indicated that Bend Studio has not been able to make a good pitch for Days Gone sequeland confirmed that it stands working on a new project based on a new IP. The project is always an open world, presenting a system similar to what was seen in Days Gone, also including multiplayer. However, the study confirmed that it is a whole new world. We can’t say for sure if they’re actually working on a sequel to Days Gone, however it can’t be ruled out.
