The future of Daredevil: Born Again is far from one of its big stars. It doesn’t seem like there are any plans for an iconic character.
No good news for Daredevil: Born Again. The Deborah Ann Woll star has admitted that there are currently no plans for her to appear in the new Marvel Studios TV series or any superhero adaptations. That means she wouldn’t be returning as Karen Page in the MCU.
“There is no plans for me so far on either side (MCU or DC) of the comic book universe.”

“There are no plans for me in any superhero universe,” acknowledged the actress
During a question and answer session at the ICCCon from Nashville, Deborah Ann Woll was asked if she would be interested in making the jump to the DC Universe instead of return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Karen Page. “Am I allowed to cross the river? I think that would be very dangerous. There are some people who can do it. But I don’t know if I’m one of those lucky few, ”replied the actress, who will not be in Daredevil: Born Again. “I don’t know if I’ll be in DC. It has been great to be a part of this saga. And I think, you know, it was such a unique little corner of the MCU that it felt really special. I’m very happy with what I’ve had, but there are no plans for me so far anywhere in the comics universe. But I am very grateful for the experience that I have lived”.
Netflix
In 2015, Deborah Ann Woll made her Marvel debut in the Netflix series. The actress played Karen Page, close friend and occasional romantic interest of Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Cox. Deborah Ann Woll reprized the role in other series such as The Punisher and The Defenders, the latter of which brought together the cast of all the series the Marvel and Netflix. In early March, it was reported that neither Deborah Ann Woll nor Elden Henson, who played Foggy Nelson, would be returning for the Daredevil: Born Again series.
