Particularly in the case of Strukton, this is no longer just about reputational damage caused by the lawsuits against his ex. The fact that Strukton only presented its annual report for 2020 (!) last weekend is symbolic of the company’s problems. In that annual report, the construction company reports a loss of 200 million euros, mainly due to a metro project in Saudi Arabia (depreciation of 64 million euros) and the renovation of Groningen station (46 million in the red). The construction of the RIVM office is also not going very smoothly, to say the least (the company estimates 71 million negative, although some legal disputes are still ongoing).
