The movie Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 brings us a great villain such as The High Evolutionary of Chukwudi Iwuji.
The new Marvel movies may not be as popular as other installments from a few years ago, but even so, it must be recognized that they have given us impressive new villains. Some clear examples are Gorr (Christian Bale) from Thor: Love and Thunder (2022), Kang (Jonathan Majors) from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023), Xu Wenwu (Tony Leung) from Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings (2021), Arishem (David Kaye) from The Eternals (2021) and High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji) from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023).
Now, in a recent interview with SR, actors Miriam Shor and Nico Santos who play The High Evolutionary’s henchmen, have doled out a lot of praise for Chukwudi Iwuji.
Miriam Shor who plays Vim has revealed: “First of all, what you should know about Chuk is that he is a delight as a human. He is kind. He is a dreamer and he is a brilliant actor. He comes from the stage. He can do anything. He really can. So to work with an actor like that, it’s just fun. That’s what it was like to work with him because he elevated every scene he was in, and he wasn’t afraid to give every ounce of emotional truth to him. So he makes you do that, and then he makes it a joy. He is so exciting. It’s very, very fun.”
While Nico Santos who plays Theel said, “You got it. You can prepare for the character as much as you can. But something happens when you get to the set, you see what your scene partners are giving you, and then you can recalibrate it. Then that last puzzle piece makes sense of how you’re supposed to portray your character. That’s what it was. Working with Chuk and Miriam”.

Another villain who wanted to improve the Universe.
Attention SPOILERS. The High Evolutionary of Chukwudi Iwuji believed that he had a great purpose, since he intended to create the perfect society. For this he evolves into different animals and gives them human abilities. But after establishing different civilizations, he only got hit by Rocket and so he wants to catch him anyway. Luckily, the talking raccoon’s friends will not leave him alone and will fight for him until the last consequences.
The movie Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is still in theaters, but surely it will soon be able to be enjoyed on Disney Plus like the rest of the installments of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
