WASHINGTON – A man from Illinois, United States of America (USA) had to deal with the law because of his reckless actions to catch the plane he was going to be traveling on. How could he not, he had to be a prisoner for stealing a beko.
Reporting from the Associated Press, Wednesday (24/5/2023), the man stole a beko and then drove it 16 kilometers to the airport to catch the plane.
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office said security camera footage showed a Carbondale man arriving at Southern Illinois Veterans Airport on a backhoe and leaving it in the airport parking lot Thursday.
“The footage captures a man walking across the street from the parking lot to the airport lobby, carrying a guitar case,” the sheriff’s office said.
The sheriff’s office said the owner of the beko arrived at the airport moments later and identified the equipment as belonging to his company. The owner said the machine, usually used to move large debris, had been parked at the job site.
