26 maggio 2023
Gonzaga, Mantua, 26 May. It opens there Show Exchange at the Gonzaga Millennial Fair. It is pure Epoch signed CAMER, the Club which has been organizing the event since 1976 and which has made it one of the references at the top of the Bermuda triangle of Vintage reviews. We made a first visit, and we will continue until the end to give you the extract, the distillate of the presence of thousand exhibitors, roughly equivalent to as many enthusiasts, who populate this strange and fascinating world. Niche, yes, but when it turns out that the entire indoor and open surface of the Fair is densely populated by specialists of all sizes, origins and provenances, then niche yes, but also great show.
We talked to Franco Catellani. He is one of the “ambassadors” and Advisor of the room, Reggiano Vintage Car and Motorcycle Club. He is a BMW enthusiast and, consequently, a competent “associate”, like most of the 2.500 soci of the ROOM. He told us about the BMWs that the Club has brought to represent its “strength”, all precious vehicles and, above all, decidedly particular. Because the history of the motorcycle is almost never in the rigor of the series but an exciting novel of evolution. For example: you know what that means alphanumeric codein particular OZ-80, stamped on the crankcase of the 1940s twin-cylinder? No? Listen to Franco and you will know. Then come to visit, curiosities abound.
