Suara.com – The Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Association of Prospective Members of the DPR and DPRD (BCAD) reported former Deputy Minister of Law and Human Rights (Wamenkumham) Denny Indrayana to Polda Metro Jaya, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta (Jaksel) on Monday (29/5/2023) .
Coordinator of the BCAD Association, Musa Emyus, said that his party reported Denny because of allegations of leaking state secrets, namely information about the Constitutional Court (MK) intending to return the legislative election system to a closed proportional system or vote for parties.
Musa claimed that Denny’s actions by leaking state secrets were considered to be troubling for legislative candidates in the face of the 2024 election.
“Firstly, Denny Indrayna leaked state secrets. Second, he made us nervous. We are working at the party again. Dissemination is disrupted by the issue made by Denny Indrayana,” said Musa in a statement received on Monday (29/5) /2023).

“So on that basis we report,” he said.
It is known that the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud Md asked the police to investigate Denny Indrayana who claimed to have received information that the Constitutional Court (MK) would return the legislative election system to a closed proportional system or vote for parties.
This was conveyed by Mahfud Md via his personal Twitter account @mohmahfudmd in response to Denny Indrayana’s statement claiming to have received information regarding the Constitutional Court (MK) decision regarding the legislative election system which will return to a closed proportional system or vote for parties.
“This information from Denny sets a bad precedent, it can be categorized as leaking state secrets. The police must investigate A1’s information which is said to be Denny’s source so that speculation does not contain slander,” said Mahfud, Sunday (28/5/2023).
Mahfud reminded that the Constitutional Court’s decision should not have been leaked before it was read out. Mahfud emphasized that the Constitutional Court’s decision would be strictly confidential before it was read out.
