The actor Arnold Schwarzenegger has roles as mythical as the T-800 from Terminator and Conan. But… Will he play them again?
Arnold Schwarzenegger at the age of 75 (July 30, 1947) continues with his film career and currently has several interesting projects such as the Fubar series and the movie Breakout. But his fans are still wondering if he will do a new Terminator installment and if he will star in The Legend of Conan. Now, he answers this in a recent interview with THR.
“I got the message loud and clear that the world wants to move on with a different topic when it comes to Terminator. Someone has to have a great idea. The Terminator was largely responsible for my success, so I would always look very fondly. The first three movies were great.”
“Movie number four (Salvation), was not there because he was governor. Then five (Genisys) and six (Dark Fate) didn’t close the deal as far as I’m concerned. We knew that beforehand because they just weren’t written well.”

So from the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger we deduce that he will not return as the Terminator. In addition, it is not very clear that the movie The Legend of Conan will come true.
“It has been pending for the last 10 years. Fredrik Malmberg owns the rights. He comes up to me and says, Oh, I have a deal with Netflix, and when we ask Netflix, they don’t know anything about it. It’s one of those crazy things. I hope he finds out.”
“There is a great script written by John Milius, and others have written one. The story is there. There are directors who want to do it. But he has the rights, and until he sells the rights to one or two movies, or to the franchise, there’s nothing you can do about it.” Arnold Schwarzenegger concluded.

The Fubar series aims to mimic the tone of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 1994 hit True Lies directed by James Cameron. The story follows a CIA agent on the brink of retirement who discovers a family secret and has to return to action for his latest job. The cast also includes Monica Barbaro, Fabiana Udenio, Travis Van Winkle and Adam Pally.
While in the movie Breakout, the character of Arnold Schwarzenegger must help his stepson to escape from a prison in a foreign country. Although for that he must defeat the prison director in a race against time to avoid capture and flee that nation.
