Aprilia All Stars took place yesterday, the big party dedicated to all fans of the prestigious brand from Noale and the world of engines, which saw over fifteen thousand visitors to the Misano World Circuit, which, as announced in recent days by Aprilia, would bring concrete help to the populations of Emilia-Romagna affected by the flood. In fact, for each participant, Aprilia donated 10 euros to the Civil Protection of the “land of motors” bringing concrete help to those who have dramatically lost everything.
The festive atmosphere of the Aprilia All Stars engines went perfectly with the solidarity race, thanks also to the presence of the Navy and its fascinating helicopters which are protagonists in the relief work in Emilia Romagna.
The thousands of enthusiasts were welcomed by the MotoGP spectacle on the track with Aprilia riders Aleix Espargaró, Maverick Viñales, Lorenzo Savadori, Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernandez. And with them true legends like Max Biaggi and Loris Capirossi and Alex Gramigni, World Champions with Aprilia.
The Piaggio Group and Aprilia donated a contribution of 10 euros for each enthusiast who attended Misano and to this was added the proceeds from the many fundraising initiatives that involved riders and the public in a real solidarity race, which led to the final figure of 200 thousand euros which will go to the Civil Protection of Emilia Romagna.
The Aprilia riders donated their racing items such as helmets, overalls and boots to charity auctions. True memorabilia, extremely coveted by motorsport enthusiasts, who have contributed to the collection, with their offers and their purchases, including the highly sought-after official t-shirt of the event.
The extraordinary day of solidarity was accompanied by the traditional show on the track. On the MWC track, the displays of the RS-GPs, ridden by the Aprilia MotoGP riders, the RSV4 superbikes up to the legendary 250 2-stroke took turns. As always, the quarter-litres, which brought Aprilia’s palmares 18 world titles and 143 GP victories, were among the bikes most coveted by the riders. The highlight for sports enthusiasts of the MotoGP world championship was obviously the display on the track of the 2023 RS-GPs, the Aprilia MotoGP protagonist of the world championship.
For all biker enthusiasts, for groups of friends and also for the many families who flocked there, it was a day of celebration, full of opportunities for fun that ranged from testing the bikes in the Aprilia 2023 range to fantastic entertainment on the large stage, and throughout the day, by the stars of radio Deejay and M2O.
