Amien Rais also responded to the arrest of Johnny G Plate for corruption in the 4G BTS procurement project worth 8 trillion rupiah.
According to him, the incident became a momentum to uncover corruption cases from supporters or political parties supporting President Jokowi.
The leader of the Ummat party also challenged the Attorney General to take that position.
“So the Johnny G Plate incident can be a wide gate for exposing the corruption of Pak Jokowi’s associates,” said Amien, launching from his YouTube channel, via wartaeconomics – suara.com network, Friday (19/05/23).

“As far as I know, Mr. Muhammad Prasetyo is the Attorney General and before now Mr. Burhanuddin must have had a bunch of documents about the corruption of Mr. Jokowi’s friends,” he added.
“So hold a press conference that is non-judgmental. So that there will be mutual disassembly between the two camps that were once united and in conflict,” he explained.
Amien Rais also called for Surya Paloh to have the courage to fight back against President Jokowi after G Plate was caught.
“Yes, Surya Paloh, please fight back, don’t just stay silent,” he said.
