Sunday afternoon shortly after 4pm, at the Cremona Circuit in San Martino del Lagoduring a free practice session reserved for amateur drivers Davide Rolando lost his life47 years old, from Turin.
Was run over by another motorcyclist as he was trying to get away from the trackafter a crash with his BMW S1000RR.
Rescuers immediately intervened on the spot and made all attempts to revive him, but for Rolando there was nothing to do. The Carabinieri also arrived and will have to determine the exact dynamics of what happened, captured by the circuit’s internal camera system.
The man leaves his wife Nadia, and was the owner of a center for car inspections and motorcycle preparation in Borgone Susa, in the province of Turin. Limited to the context of free practice, the Piedmontese driver, a few years ago, had also started a career in the world of amateur racing, also forfeiting some satisfaction.
