Captain America’s legacy will continue in the Marvel Cinematic Universe through Sam Wilson in Captain America: New World Order, the new solo movie of the superhero that will have Anthony Mackie (A ghost is loose in the house, Out in the open, Black Mirror) leading the cast.
At the moment the details of the film’s plot are kept in the most absolute secret, knowing only that will follow the first steps of the superhero formerly known as Falcon assuming his role as the new Captain America after the events that took place in the series Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

While Roxxon has occasionally factored in the plotlines of Marvel series like Agent Carter, Cloak and Dagger, and Daredevil, the corporation usually only appears through background nods, so we don’t know if this will be an Easter Egg for the film or if the company will have special weight in its plot.

The new Captain America movie will bring back several popular Marvel characters
Aside from Anthony Mackie, the cast of Captain America: New World Order will bring back Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, this time played by Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones and the Dial of Fate, Unfiltered Therapy) due to the death of William Hurt. will also be back Liv Tyler (Ad Astra, Wildling) as Betty Ross, Bruce Banner’s love interest in The Incredible Hulk.
