The Bad Boys 4 movie is starting filming and we can see a smiling Will Smith reprising the role of Mike Lowrey.
Since the third installment was a success in 2020, grossing more than 420 million dollars, it didn’t take long for Bad Boys 4 to be announced. So now, they’re already filming this new adventure by cops Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett. (Martin Lawrence).

Production is currently in Atlanta and TMZ reveals the look of Will Smith with the typical Mike Lowrey goatee, who appears to be all smiles as he chats with others on set. What will the movie be about?
No details of Bad Boys 4 have been revealed for now, but at least we know that the directors of the third installment Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are returning. In addition, the cast includes Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Alexander Ludwig, Vanessa Hudgens, Eric Dane and Paola Núñez.
It will be interesting to see how the story continues, as in the third installment Marcus is considering retirement and is worried about his mortality after becoming a grandfather. Meanwhile, Mike is still very busy at work, but when he is attacked by an old enemy, Armando Aretas (Jacob Scipio), he and Marcus must work together to stop him and his drug cartel.
Bad Boys
But there’s a big reveal, as Mike confesses to Marcus that Armando is his son. Since a long time ago he worked as an undercover agent in the Aretas cartel where he met Isabel. They fell in love and tried to run away together, using “Hasta el Fuego” as their secret slogan. Mike eventually stayed loyal to the police and realized how dangerous Isabel had become. That’s why Marcus and the rest of the young agents join him in Mexico to confront her.

At the end of the movie Mike visits a repentant Armando in prison and offers him a chance for some redemption, which he accepts. So in Bad Boys 4 they may delve into the relationship of these two characters.
For now, there is no release date, but we hope that soon they will reveal more information about what Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have prepared for this new installment of the funniest police officers in the cinema.
