During yesterday we could see that Nintendo had several surprises prepared for ussince we woke up with the announcement of the imminent release of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC, while many have been surprised by the fact that it will come out before the end of this month because at the time it was said that it would arrive before end of the year, giving a much wider release window.
In any case, leaving the Xenoblade Chronicles saga aside, it cannot be denied that yesterday’s big weight was the announcement of a new Indie World that was broadcast this past afternoon (in Spanish peninsular time) for feature various Indie titles that would arrive on Nintendo Switch and with a date for some of these. And it seems that one of the great protagonists is Blasphemous II, the Spanish title developed in Seville.
Blasphemous II will be released at the end of summer after revealing its spectacular trailer in the latest Nintendo Indie World
Under this premise, yesterday the development team, The Game Kitchen, announced that The sequel to Blasphemous will be out at the end of summerbeing so that we are just a few months away from putting ourselves back in the shoes of El Penitente, protagonist in the first installment, whose story will follow the steps seen after the end of the DLC Wounds of Eventide.
Of course, do not think that known areas will be seen again, since, from what has been shown, El Penitente will reach a strange new land that we will have to explore from beginning to end in order to save the day and thus return to the place where he can rest in peace, this being something that has been shown in his trailer shown during the aforementioned event and that you can see below:
In this way, with new enemies and abilities, it should be noted that Blasphemous 2 doesn’t have a fixed release date yetbeyond that it will reach digital stores in summer 2023. However, we can say that the title is scheduled to be released on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Nintendo Switch.
