Despite some bad reviews from the general press against the movie The Super Mario Bros. fans are showing that the movie has been a success in every way.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie has broken records for having the world’s best opening for an animated film. Anyone who has seen the film will know what an amazing job all the voice actors did in bringing their characters to life, and Jack Black arguably exceeded expectations with his role as Bowser.
From the very first teaser, Black won fans over with his perfect portrayal of Mario’s nemesis, and things only got better in the actual movie when it was revealed that Bowser’s true intentions were to marry his true love, Princess Peach.
During the movie, Bowser breaks into song and performs a ballad about his unrequited love for Peach. Titled ‘Peaches’, the song was co-written by Black, Aaron Horvath, Michael Jelenic, Eric Osmond and John Spiker. It currently has millions of views on YouTube. Also, Variety is reporting that it will be eligible to be nominated for Best Original Song at the Oscars, which is really good news as we might as well see the film itself in some category at said awards.
