The Last of Us: Part I had a rocky opening on PC and that already affected Naughty Dog’s record on Metacritic. The PlayStation studio is recognized for its great releases, well received by gamers and critics. However, The Last of Us: Part I is already its worst-reviewed game on the site.
The PC version debuted with various performance errors and bugs that have even become memes. As expected, the reviews were not favorable either from the press or from fans of the franchise, who are extremely disappointed.

The Last of Us: Part I Has Dismal Ratings on Metacritic
At the time of writing this, the title has 6 reviews from the press and averages a rating of 56. Players, on the other hand, were more severe and gave it a rating of only 1.8.
Thus, The Last of Us: Part I for PC is already the Naughty Dog game with the worst reviews on Metacritic and, without a doubt, the worst launch by the renowned studio. In contrast, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, another recent PC release, has 88 from press and 4.7 from users.
With this, The Last of Us: Part I also becomes the worst PlayStation launch on PC. To put this in perspective, God of War for PC has a 93 from the press and an 8.5 from the fan community.
Of course, Naughty Dog has not been idle and has already released several updates to improve the state of the game. However, the upset community is unlikely to forget this bad moment in the saga.
