A few months ago we told you how Nintendo Pictures was born, a new studio bought by Nintendo from Dynamo Pictures for animated productions. Today, thanks to the newly released spring anime season, we are seeing the company begin to appear in the credits of some new productions. This is because, despite the name change, Dynamo Pictures left certain works produced which are now coming to light under the new corporate name of Nintendo Pictures. That way, funny as it is, these could be considered the early work of Nintendo Pictures since the birth of the company. Although they have nothing to do with Nintendo, let’s not kid ourselves, they have style!
Nintendo Picture’s early works are musical anime
The first job of Nintendo Pictures we find it in the ninth chapter of Hirogaru Sky!. The popular new season of Pretty Cure presents in his credits to the studio, listing them as help for the CG animations of the chapter in question:
On the other hand, the second credit found by Nintendo Pictures dates back just a few hours. We find it in the following short film by the popular Ensemble Stars, where they also appear listed in the credits. Till the date, it had been customary for Nintendo to sponsor children’s anime like Pretty Cure or Doraemon, but they had never been seen to be part of the production of series like the ones listed above in this way. Now we just have to wait and see what kind of own projects are being developed within the companysurely they leave us with our mouths open!
