The Abandoned case still generates fear and mistrust among players. This is what is happening with The Day Before, a post-apocalyptic MMO very similar to The Last of Us and The Division that it has become one of the disappointments of the year… and that has not even come out.
To begin with, FNTASTIC (developer of the game) and another brand have a legal dispute, which caused The Day Before leave Steam… and push back its release date from March to November.
They were two blows for the players, but there would still be another setback. Days later, a gameplay of The Day Before left users very cold, especially due to the recycled assets from other games.

Since then, FNTASTIC has employed a restrictive policy when giving out more information. They feel that the plagiarism accusations are unfair, while continuing the development of the MMO.
If all goes well, The Day Before will be ready next November 10, 2023, at least in its version for PC. It seems that the versions of PS5 and Xbox Series X | S will take time to arrive.
The Day Before beta is close
In a new Discord post, the developers at FNTASTIC have revealed new details about the current state of development for the MMO. And it’s good news, no doubt.
To begin with, it is confirmed that FNTASTIC works on the return of The Day Before to Steam. They do not specify a date for their return, but they promise that they will do everything possible to make the MMO available again on the platform.
And what is more important: The Day Before will have a beta months before launch. There is no more information, but it is good news for everyone interested in the game.
”As we get closer to the release date, we will be running a beta test for the game. This will give players a chance to test the game before it’s released and provide valuable feedback that we can use to improve the final product.”
This beta of The Day Before will be exclusive to the PC version, and for now it is unknown how to access it. Will the game be back on Steam by then? Or will it be done through the web?
