Over the past few years we have seen Android device manufacturers join the foldable mobile phone race. What this new format of devices has done is to greatly revolutionize the use that users give to the telephone, but there is no revolution without an economic proposal and this can come from the hand of the Motorola Razr Lite.
Motorola is no stranger to the folding phone market and, in fact, already has two devices that have this format, Motorola Razr 2022. Despite the fact that they have not worked as well as the equipment launched by Samsung, these proposals by part of Motorola have laid the foundations so that, now, they propose an inexpensive folding device.
The news comes thanks to a leak that talks about a new foldable called Motorola Razr Lite and that, will accompany the expected Motorola Razr 2023, being in this case an economical version of the folding that Motorola has in its catalog of devices. Rumors point to a simple but functional design.
All the characteristics that have been seen about this device come from the different photographs that have been leaked. In these photographs, what you can see is that the folding format of this device will be of the clamshell type like the rest of Motorola’s foldables or the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, for example.

The outer lid screen would be small in size and indeed it looks like it would just show the device time. Of course, two cameras would be integrated right in this area that, in principle, can be a main sensor and a wide-angle one. There is not much more information about these cameras.
At the bottom of the cameras would be a dual tone LED flash. When we jump inside what we see is a screen with a horizontal fold in the central area and reduced frames along the entire screen of the device. The selfie camera will be in the upper center area of the Motorola Razr Lite device.
There are no details about the power of the device or the processor that will be integrated into it, but taking into account that it will be an inexpensive folding device, there are several aspects to take into account for its components. The first is that it will mount a high-end processor from previous years and the second is that it will mount a new mid-range processor.
