Joseph Quinn, the breakthrough actor of the fourth season of Stranger Things who surprised everyone with his portrayal of Eddie Munson, is the new signing of the sequel to Gladiator that Ridley Scott is going to direct and to which really interesting names do not stop adding. The film will continue the story of the Russell Crowe film, this time focusing on Lucius.
As The Hollywood Reporter has published, Quinn is going to play the Roman emperor Caracalla, although it does not clarify if this is going to be on the side of the good ones or the not so good ones. This new signing follows in the footsteps of the rest of the actors announced for the film, young boys with careers that have a great projection.

Russell Crowe isn’t coming back for the sequel
Although fans of the original Ridley Scott film were surely expecting this news, they always there was little hope that the protagonist of the Gladiator movie would return for the sequel. However, Crowe ended the hopes of the fans when they asked him if he planned to return and he assured in an interview that: “Not at all.”
For the New Zealander, history no longer has anything to do with Máximo, and he has no interest in re-interpreting the character that made him world famous in the sequel to Gladiator.
