Quantum Break, the Remedy Entertainment shooter that defines itself as “part video game and part action series with a stellar cast”, since it includes famous actors Shawn Ashmore, Aidan Gillen and Dominic Monaghan among its characters, has made news because he recently announced his departure from Xbox Game Pass. This since the game is exclusive to Xbox and its departure from the platform generated several rumors about possible contract terms, among others.
Situation that caused even more strangeness among fans when it was learned that the game would also no longer be available on Steam, preventing users from the Valve store from being able to purchase it to play it on their PCs.

and in a post on his official Twitter account, Remedy attributed the game’s departure from Xbox Game Pass to the expiration of licenses, further stating that it will return once the issue is resolved. In the tweet, they indicate that players should not worry, since “Quantum Break will return to Game Pass” and that “it is being temporarily removed due to some expired licenses that were in the process of renewal. We’ll let you know as soon as I’m back.”
At the moment, Remedy has not officially commented if the removal of Quantum Break on Steam is due to the same, although it is highly possible that it has been removed for the same reason as Xbox Game Pass. So if you were thinking of buying it, don’t worry too much as it will probably be back soon even though this system within the industry is lamentable and games with licensed content are removed from stores after the license expires.
