Company hidden behind the success of the reborn Benelli, QJ Motor is a Chinese giant which produces millions of vehicles every year and in 2023 is ready to bring several interesting models to the European market, such as the crossover SVT 650, the sportswoman GS550, la naked SKR 400 and the SRV 550 ST.
Developed on the technical and cycling basis of the latter, the SVR 550 is a roadster proposed in a modern-classic style with a sporty touch powered by a parallel twin of 554 cc (the same engine that QJ Motor supplied to MV Agusta for the Lucky Explorer 5.5). The declared values are of 47.6 HP and 51 Nm of torquewhile the aesthetics are embellished by an elegant two-tone livery and by classic elements proposed in a modern sauce, such as the round headlight with LED lights, the rounded tank with notches for the legs, the saddle in brown eco-leather with visible stitching and the nice side tailpipe.
As far as the chassis is concerned, we find a robust fork with 41 mm upside down legs, while at the rear there is a single shock absorber with adjustable preload. The rims are both 17” with road tires and the braking system flaunts two 320 mm discs at the front and a single 260 mm at the rear. Obviously there is ABS, which acts on both channels. The wheelbase is 144cm, the seat height is 78.5cm and the dry weight of 206 kg. Finally, the tank has a capacity of 16 litres.
