Polestar is really on a roll now. After looking at the – admittedly quite successful – face of the Polestar 2 for about four years, they suddenly treat us to two newcomers in roughly half a year’s time. In October last year we were already introduced to the Polestar 3, a large SUV, and it will be joined by the Polestar 4 this month. And if we are to believe the Swedes, it will be one to be reckoned with.
Completely on schedule
In a new teaser, Polestar already announces that the upcoming 4 will be the fastest car in their range. This means that the newcomer will not only leave the Polestar 2 BST Editions behind, but also the 510 hp top version of the Polestar 3. CEO Thomas Ingenlath also reveals that the 4 will not simply be a redesigned version of the 3. become, but a thoroughly different car. According to the manufacturer, the new model could even combine the interior space of an SUV with the aerodynamics of a coupe, so it is confirmed: the Polestar 4 will be an SUV coupe.
The attentive Polestar follower actually knew the latter longer than today, because two weeks ago Ingenlath boasted about the tight planning of his brand by showing the upcoming models in camouflage. That included the Polestar 4 at the time, but it was not alone. In addition, we also got to see the Polestar 5 again, a sedan that we can expect in the course of next year, and around 2026 it will be the turn of the Polestar 6 as an electric roadster. First, as promised, we will see this Polestar 4 in full regalia, and that will happen on April 18.
