Weak stock market and spreads on the rise after Moody’s attack on Btp Italia
Opening in red for the European stock exchanges: in Milan the Ftse Mib index started trading at 27,116 points, down 0.50%, as well as Frankfurt which lost 0.51%. Slightly more contained losses for London, which falls by 0.25% and for Paris, which leaves 0.12% on the sidelines.
Spread slightly up at the start of the day: il differential between German BTPs and Bunds rises to 189 basis points, compared to 187 at yesterday’s close. The yield on our ten-year bond stands at 4.26%.
