Suzuki presented the renewed version of the V-Strom 1050 for 2023. which sees improvements in terms of engine, chassis and electronics. The engine remains the tried and tested 90° V-twin of 1,037 cc with 107 HP and 100 Nm, but gains new new exhaust valves, while the gearbox, now equipped with quickshifter up&down di serie, has new reports. Still remaining in the transmission area, he arrives a new chainmore resistant than the previous one. The frame has also been updated. with reinforcements in the saddle area, while in terms of electronics, the calibration of the ride by whire accelerator has been revised and the operation of the cruise control has been updated. Also new are the Bosch ABS system and the 5” color TFT LCD instruments.
However, the real news is DE versiondeveloped on the basis of the classic V-Strom but more off-road inclined. It is distinguished by the spoked rims, with 21″ front and 17″ rear, semi-knob Dunlop Trailmax Mixtour tires and longer travel suspension, bringing the seat height to 880mm. The chassis dimensions have also been revised to improve off-road driving, while the electronics can count on the G (Gravel) driving mode. Other specifications include the assistance system for starting, the braking distribution on the axles, the oversized steel platforms, the aluminum sump guard and the standard crash bars.
The colors and prices of the V-STROM 1050 range
The V-STROM 1050 is sold for 15,290 Euros and is available in four different two-tone liveries: Warsaw Blue, Istanbul Grey, Nairobi Black and Beijing Red. Beijing Red is a novelty compared to what was announced at the launch. Those who opt for the V-STROM 1050DE can choose between three two-tone colors: Luxor Yellow, Rodi Blue and Nairobi Black, all offered at 15,990 Euros.
