Riot Games announced participation in Naples COMICON 2023 confirming the presence of the League of Legends Game Director Pu Liu. During the festival, moreover, the illustrator CKibe will perform in a live performance dedicated to the creation of logo for 10 years of League of Legends in Italy. A cosplay contest and stage of the Storm Circuit.

Riot Games confirms its presence today at the Naples COMICON – International Festival of pop culture, scheduled from 28 April to 1 May 2023 at the Naples Overseas Exhibition.
Lots of content available to fans and the community, first of all the panel on April 28 at 13:00 which will feature Pu Liu, Game Director of League of Legends, Carlo Barone, Brand Manager Riot Games, the content creators Terenas and Paolo Cannone and some surprise guests from the distant past. Pu Liu will talk about his vision for League of Legends as the new game director, the history of the game in Italy, Riot Games’ relationship with players around the world and much more.

“Although League of Legends celebrated its 10th anniversary worldwide in 2019, we couldn’t help but create a celebration dedicated to the Italian community, for which League was officially launched, in Italian, in 2013. We absolutely want to recognize the passion and dedication that, over the past 10 years, our players have poured into the League, with the wish that they continue to do so… and what better occasion to start this celebration, which will go on throughout the year with various appointments, than the fantastic Naples COMICON frame with an exceptional guest?” declares Carlo Barone.
As part of the celebrations for the 10th anniversary of LoL, Napoli COMICON will also host the LEAGUE OF LEGENDS COSPLAY CONTEST – 10 YEARS OF LOL, a cosplay contest dedicated to the most famous MOBA in the world. The appointment is for Saturday 29 April from 16.30 to 19.00 at the Arena Flegrea (Main Stage). The jury will be formed by Pu Liu (Game Director of League of Legends), Luce Cosplay and Mogu Cosplay. Federica di Paola, aka Icon Stitch, will lead the event. The contest is open to everyone (individuals or groups) and includes a single category: Best Original. Ample space also for the artistic part, thanks to a live performance scheduled for April 30, the day in which the illustrator CKibe, already known to fans for her LoL-themed works and the many collaborations in official Riot Games events, will create the logo dedicated to 10 years of League of Legends in Italy.
Finally, the inevitable stage of the Tormenta Circuit has been confirmed, an amateur competition designed for all Riot fans and organized in collaboration with Qlash. Now in its third Italian edition, the Storm will be among the protagonists of the Naples COMICON Videogame Area with the T1s of VALORANT (28 April from 10:00), League of Legends (29 April from 10:00) and Teamfight Tactics (1 May from 11:00).
