During this morning, the CMA delivered its verdict on the purchase of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft, indicating that it would block it for damages to the competition, leaving Game Pass as the main culprit. Blockade that has shaken the industry, but especially Xbox fans, who were already preparing for the arrival of all these franchises to the Xbox subscription service.
This is how many Xbox fans have been totally disappointed with the decision, leaving sad messages on their social network profiles such as Twitter, where they say that “It is so illogical that the arguments given by the CMA are similar to those that Sony used to block the purchase, and that we all saw as drowning kicks or toddler tantrums” or even, lamenting the arrival of Sony’s “workhorse” and that it used to try to block the merger, the Call of Duty saga, what you see reflected in the lament of a player who says: “My dream of seeing all Call of Duty on Game Pass died.”
