Triumph of Brad Binder, in front of a newfound Francesco Bagnaia and teammate Jack Miller. Excellent sixth place for Dani Pedrosa 1”7 from the leader. Other Italians: Marco Bezzecchi ninth, Luca Marini tenth, Fabio Di Giananntonio 11th, Franco Morbidelli 16th. The first Japanese bike is the Yamaha of Fabio Quartararo, 12th in a race shortened by one lap after an accident at the first start. Spectacular race: vote 8.5

Jerez de la Frontera – In the Sprint of break away furiouslyvince Brad Bindervery good at starting in the lead despite starting from fourth position, but, above all, incredible in its overtaking at turn 6 on the tenth lap, with the bike sidewayswith the rear tire skidding even in the next change of direction.
A truly applause overtakingagainst the teammate Jack Miller, who isn’t exactly one to brake slowly. Before Binder’s success, he needs to be taken a step back: at the first start, a contact between Franco Morbidelli, Marbo Bezzecchi, Alex Marquez forced to expose the Red flagbecause Bezzecchi’s bike had remained on the track.
Everyone and pilots they succeeded to restartin a race shortened by one lap, therefore by 11 and no more than 12. As in the first start, it is the two KTM riders who take the lead, with the difference that in this case Binder is ahead of everyone and not Miller , with Jorge Martin third, Pecco Bagnaia fourth and Aleix Espargaro fifth.
On the sixth round, the first major falljust that of the author of the pole: Espargaro slipped at 9 while in fifth: it was slightly too tight, he put the wheels on the inside white line and flew away. We always talk about centimeters, but it’s another wasted opportunity.
What a challenge ahead
In front of KTM dictating the pacewith Miller first, Binder second, with another challenge between fellow Marca to inflame the public, that one between Bagnaia and Martin.
a little further back, Miguel Oliveira it’s a great Dani Pedrosaalways attached to the Aprilia rival.
On lap nine, Binder’s first attempt on lap six: great braking, too wide, it’s easy for Miller to regain the lead. In the tenth, however, Brad closed the trajectory – who knows how he managed it – regardless of the bike that jumped and with the rear wheel all sideways he managed to conquer the first place, keeping it until the finish line.
For him it is second victory in the Sprint after that in Argentina.
Well done Pecco
Immediately overtaking by his teammate, Miller was immediately approached by Bagnaia, who didn’t have to not even force braking to pass his former teammate, finished wide at 6 on the last lap.
For Bagnaia a second place very significant, considering the big problems it had up until the P3s. Then, in Q1 he managed to conquer the passage in Q2 (as did Binder), then obtaining the fifth place on the grid.
Slowly it has found security, conviction, determination and second place is a good sign: see it as you like, but it’s almost always his la first Ducati at the finish. A valuable third place for Miller, but also a bit bitter considering that he was first until halfway through the penultimate lap.
Great Pedrosa
Also George Martin he was convinced of finishing on the podium, however, despite having a lot of speed at the start, he was unable to achieve very good speed, while Miguel Oliveira is the first Aprilia rider to cross the finish line, fifth: his was a consistent race, finishing 1 ”6 from the peak, with in the wake of a great Dani Pedrosa, who also tried to overtake him on the eighth lap, without being able to sink the braking. Bravo Dani, crystalline talent.
Vinales, what a pity
Another who can complain is certainly Maverick Vinales, seventh after being tenth on the first lap: as often happens, Vinales was the fastest from mid-race onwardsincreasing regrets for the starting position.
Yamaha and Honda not received
The first Japanese motorcycle is that of Fabio Quartararo, who in the first start had managed to climb from 16th to eighth position in two corners. But in the second start he was much less effective and in the end he collects a 12th place which means 0 points.
Honda is even further back: Nakagami and Mir crashed, while Rins finished very far away. What a mess.
All hanging by a thread
Today’s Sprint confirmed, once again, that they are all – more or less – hanging by a thread: It’s very easy to lose control and end up on the ground. I fear it will be like this for the whole season.
At 19 directed with Alessio Salucci to comment on what happened on the track.
