The current relationship between Max Biaggi e Valentino Rossi it looks a bit like “I want to but I can’t” or “I would like to but I don’t want to take the first step”.
In what sense?
In the sense that for a couple of years the two send each other opening and closing messagesfor example:
“Maybe in the future we will have the opportunity to smile over a good glass of wine, remembering those moments we lived together” (Biaggi, 5 August 2021, the day of the announcement of Rossi’s withdrawal from MotoGP)
“We greet each other, we speak well of each other, it’s nice” (Rossi, March 2022)
“He’s not among the top 50 I wish at Christmas” (Biaggi, March 2023)
“Our rivalry was beautiful” (Rossi, March 2023)
It arrived two days ago a new and decisive opening to a meeting by Biaggi who shared a photo posted by MotoGP and which portrays the two rivals in battle at Welcome 2004:
“The rivalry with Valentino is oldhow much I miss him. Today only beautiful things remain, even if they exist literally hated. having been valentiniano or biaggista now it doesn’t matter, but it was important that every fan identified with one of us and through us learned to love a unique and incredibly exciting sport. What a BEAUTIFUL STORY.”
Deducing: if for both now only the fact remains that it was a good story and the old frictions they are gone, why not meet and talk about it together? Maybe with a third party who interviews them…
