FIM, IRTA and Dorna have announced the cancellation of the Kazakhstan GP from the 2023 MotoGP calendar, which represented the eighth grand prix of the season, scheduled for July 7-9. This decision was made as the homologation operations currently underway at the circuitto which must be added the challenges deriving from the international context, made it impossible to finish the works by that date.
L2023 event will not be replaced, and MotoGP is aiming to visit Sokol International Racetrack in 2024.
With the cancellation of the Kazakhstan GP, there are still 20 GPs scheduled for 2023.
