#lanotiziainprimafila today, in my opinion, is not the competitiveness of Apriliathe great strength of Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales, but the great difficulty of Fabio Quartararo and Yamaha.
For the first time since 2020, Fabio took pay from Franco Morbidelli – indeed, more generally by the teammate – for two consecutive rounds; he’s out of the ten, tomorrow he’ll have to go through Q1. He looks helpless, as if, to use a slang term, his chain has dropped. In short, he no longer believes in it.
In 2021 and up to the 2022 Dutch GP he was clearly the strongest rider, but now he is no longer able to patch up a motorcycle which, in fact, has remained the same as in 2022with a small engine improvement.
Meanwhile, however, Ducati, Aprilia, but also KTM have grown and today even Honda, even without Marc Maruqez, has been superior. We are only on Friday for the second GP, but the feeling is that Quartararo and Yamaha are already out of the fight for the title.
